My Amazon Alex tells me it will be nearly 60 F. Went outside to bring the trash bin back and was barefoot wearing a t-shirt, and sweatpants, and didn't feel a chill. Even the wind felt comfortable. The rain stopped, and I took the opportunity to take a walk.

If you're one of those people who dislike the cold weather and likes going out for walks, bring an umbrella just in case, but enjoy the weather.

You just made me check the date on my calendar twice to confirm it’s not Christmas Eve, so thanks for that!

OMG! Why do I keep thinking Christmas is Saturday? lol -- You're right, I'm a moron. Today is December 23rd, and you would be the 9th person to correct me.

It's still good weather, today, though, so enjoy it while it last.

It's almost 2023, and I sometimes still write (or type) 2020, for some unknown reason, so don't feel bad.

Laughs & cries

It was the year we normalized crazy. -- If you check my post history, I work for another social media company. Nearly 3yrs later, and we're still dealing with that level of crazy (not as often, but they're out there).

I am sorry things have been hard. I hope in time they turn around for you. The job market out there is nuts, and I truly believe a lot of those "help wanted" notices are for show. Add in the fact that many places are not looking to pay worth a damn, and I can completely understand why some people (who are able) stop looking.

I hope things turn around, and I wish you good fortune.

I’ve been stuck in 2019 all along myself… I guess my brain just keeps reverting back to the last time things were relatively normal.

Fellow crazy person here. Glad I’m not the only one who collects the trash bins barefoot in the winter time.

Perhaps it's my laid-back nature or because I usually have warm feet. But for the 30 seconds, it takes to get and retrieve the bin, I don't feel the need to put socks and shoes on. Especially if I know I have nowhere to go today. I work from home and I finished all my shopping, yesterday (even finished wrapping).

So no, you're not the only one. But I do get a good laugh when people notice.

I just did the same thing!! Brought the bins in and was thinking that I gotta get my dogs out here! Nice day for a walk. Might be too windy for the woods but the temp is perfect

I was pleasantly surprised.

From inside the house, you hear the wind, and you imagine it would be a cold, northern gust, but it's not that at all. Feels nice out.

High of 16F and low of 11F. - Every time they update the forecast, tomorrow is expected to be colder and colder. So you're right, enjoy it while it lasts.

Well, thankfully I got to enjoy the warmth for a bit before coming in to do laundry and realizing my basement flooded. Now I know what I’ll be doing the rest of the day. Yay New England!

Happy Holidays to you too.

We received a new roof, earlier this month, before it became bitter cold. I notice it seems oddly a little chiller with the new roof (replaced the shingles). I find that odd that replacing shingles could change things like that, especially since the new ones seem to have had a minor negative effect.

It's funny what little things you notice, eh? -- Again, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
