Good school district, my wife tells me . Again, being an immigrant I find this whole concept of school districts weird - but when in rome, I guess. And I do love being on 95 and 93 intersections.

It's all good. Nice houses. Not too far from Boston. Low crime rate. Good schools. I think there may be some transportation. But you will be car dependent.

Our starter house was in Reading. Lived there four years and loved it -- walkable, good restaurants, great library and easy access. We made a killing when we sold but still couldn't find something affordable to stay in town. But would highly recommend it.

When I was 13 I stayed at a friends in Reading. The cops stopped us for walking his dog at 9:00PM for it being too late for us being out. That’s what I think of Reading lol

They don't even have a Reading Railroad there, so disappointing.

If you wear cool sneakers/ outfits and have time to walk your dog during the day, you will fit right in.

Great town! Bagel world!
One blemish: that hockey dad fight at Burbank arena back in the 90's, tho I dunno if those folks were from reading or not. Burbank arena is really nice, too

Bought a house here in 2017, loved it since. More and more gentrification happening every day( take it fwiw). For context, I’m a brown dude - and I’d love a bit more diversity, but my neighbours never made me feel like an outsider. I’m starting to love all the restaurants and shops popping up in Woburn and Burlington ; which are just 10 mins away. Housing is ridiculously expensive though, any “bigger house” plans we have met with a hard reality check this year.
