Weird, I never knew Crystal Lake had a boat house. One of my best friend's when I was a teenager lived right next to the cemetery on Crystal Lake and we used to mess around in the woods surround quite a bit.

Seeing Gardner now you would never know it was once a pretty prosperous and bustling town.

oh hey, fellow local!

I was born in that town at the Heywood Hospital, and I don't recall seeing it either when I was younger, nor when I revisited it as an adult after I'd moved away.

And agreed about what that town has become. It's now mostly just old furniture (I think??) factories, old toy stores, and the giant chair.

The building with the tall chimney is still there. Can’t recall if the chimney is there or not. Don’t think so. Also, the white church rising in the background is still there.
