Huh makes sense why I see dudes going 120 on the turnpike
In shorts and flip-flops, yeah.
Most motorcycles are challenging to push for any meaningful distance. 100 yards, for example, would be difficult. Pushing is 1 thing, while avoiding tipping is another.
Most people would rent a trailer.
Pay a friend to ride it home.
Or check the regulations for a motorcycle learners permit (if such a thing exists.)
Yes, such a thing exists.
Try reading the DMV sections about motorcycles.
Push it??
Ooh baby-baby, buh-baby baby
That’s all the lyrics
You’re entirely forgetting:
“Boy you really got me goin’/ You got me so I don’t know what I’m doin’”
Which is like half the lyrics
Pushing it isn't a problem legally, only physically demanding. A trailer may be your best bet. You may even be able to get the dealer or private seller to ride it to your home in exchange for a ride back or uber
You can get a permit by passing a written test and that's it. On the permit, you can ride during limited hours and can't have a passenger. It's pretty easy. Alternatively, UHaul rents trailers designed to transport bikes.
So why is this particular bike worth the effort?

take the learners permit test at the RMV, then you can ride it home. BTW when i took mine the exam didn't ask one question about a motorcycle. Most of it was junior operator laws, Kind of hard to remember them when i haven't needed them for 20 years
Take the quiz for your permit online and print it out. You will be legally able to drive it home. The test is easy and takes 30 minutes. Print it out right at home.
You can get a permit, but you would still need to register and insure it before you can ride it.

Motorcyclist here.
Pushing a bike blows. Don't make that your Plan A.
In MA you can get a motorcycle permit from the RMV without having to take a road test, just a 30 question exam. (Delightfully, a shockingly huge proportion of bikers just keep renewing their permits instead of getting a proper motorcycle license endorsement, specifically to avoid having to take a road test and prove to everyone that all they know how to do is go fast in a straight line.) I think you can get the permit online, it's like 30 bucks. Do that and get legal before you get a bike. Alternatively, rent a bike trailer from U-Haul (assuming you have a vehicle that can pull it.)
And take the MSF course. It won't get you ready for the street, but it will teach you the fundamentals of how to handle a bike at parking lot speeds. I realize that sounds flippant, but it isn't. In this country you can, theoretically, pass the motorcycle license exam with no training whatsoever, which is friggin' terrifying.
Anyway, congratulations and have fun! I started about 18 months ago as a fat old guy and I'm kicking myself for not starting sooner. Being on 2 wheels is a blast. I hope you join the club soon; I'll give you the wave if I see you out there!
