Personally I dont like torgue since it focuses too much on aoe rather than single target, making the damage per shot less as compared to other options

I haven't played anything past BL3, but iirc Torgue weapon's damage per shot is higher than every other manufacturer's except Jakobs. They also deal all that damage in an AoE. Their downside is that they are slow, both fire rate and projectile flight speed is... bad. Doesn't matter much when you can finish a fight in one click and have an epileptic seizure doing it!

If you are talking about Tina's Wonderlands, it sounds like they nerfed Torgue guns. SAD MR. TORGUE NOISES

I played all the games a lot. Manufacturer only matters for specific builds and its more about the legendaries than anything. Torgue is great on some characters. In BL3 you can make a Moze build with torgue rocket launchers that doesn't even need to aim to clear the entire screen. And it can do billions of damage with right setup and a direct hit.

My favorite Torgue gun is in BL3. It's a legendary pistol shotgun that shoots 3 rockets and its amazing lol. I think I have two of them, one for each of the characters I made.

I have a fl4k build that I run pure Jakobs on (most of the time). Slot 1 is either the Hellwalker or the Flood, depending on the situation. Slots 2, 3, and 4 are the Headsplosion, the Skullmasher, and the Monocle. I call it the rootie-tootie-point-n-shootie.

I always use Jakob's, or whatever the game's equivalent to it is. There is just something satisfying about fighting crazy sci-fi weaponry, with only a revolver and good aim.

in the borderlands game series theres different manufacturers of weapons that each have their own unique twists/theme. the brand Tediore's guns are reloaded by throwing then gun at someone and the gun explodes while a new one appears in your hand

these arent really relevant to the meme but the other brands are:
Bandit/COV: large/unlimited magazine (that heats up) with low other stats
Hyperion: gets more accurate while shooting over time
Maliwan: always elemental (and needs charge time in borderlands 3)
Dahl: burst fire while in ADS
Jakobs: does more crit damage, high base damage, high accuracy, no element
Torgue: always has explosive bullets
Vladof: fast rate of fire that increases over time
Atlas: homing bullets
