Read the act, it only applies to people using s VPN to access a restricted service in the name of committing some other crime basically, the wording is vague enough that it could apply to anyone using TikTok through a vpn but that would be a lot of work to prosecute something so little, it isn't meant for individuals

That's what I'm saying. How do you track and / or inforce the no VPN thing? Our government isn't really known for being "tech savvy." I don't think they'll be able to truly inforce it imo. Plus, stuff like this gets challenged and revoked afterward due to constructional rights conflict with said act

Yes, but they use the China like censorship law to stop the China oriented app that uses spyware. Idk which is worse at this point :/
