ctrl + shift + v is better because it does paste without formatting so if you paste it into a Google doc, the formatting will be changed to match the doc's formatting

Many school and especially colleges have ways to check for plagiarism. You really wouldn't be able to get away with it in most places that aren't public schools or schools run by fossils
