I used tiny scissors that came in a pocket sewing kit. I pulled the fuzzy bits taught and cut as close as I could without hitting the knit. It took about an hour per glove, though, so there are probably better ways!

I have a cardigan I need to do this for and I'm really hoping there is a better way!

An electric shaver capped to a point that it won't dig into the cardigan itself should work!

Look up ‘fabric shavers’ or ‘pill removers for sweaters.’ Get an electric/battery operated one, they work really well. $15-30 and maybe 20-30min for an entire sweater. Gloves are trickier with all the small spaces but for sweaters, blankets, couches, pillows, etc the electric ones are great!

I’ve heard that using a shaving razor can be a quicker way, if you have one :)

There are ways to do and ways not to do. Lots of YT vids on the subject of depilling knits.
