My vote, Soylent Green.
To be honest I went my whole life until about 35 years old, knowing the line "Soylent Green is people" but never really considered it's origins. I managed to actually watch it and knowing the twist at the end and it was still good.
But I truly feel this is a movie that could be remade, but with the mindset and edginess of the fucked up world we live in today.

Back when it was released, the scenario of an overcrowded, overpolluted world with food shortages was a cautionary tale. For us, it was 2020.
