I loved how Liotta made a joke about it playing himself in an episode of Just Shoot Me

EDIT: clarification

If you enjoyed this, the TV show with Mads Mikkelsen is probably going to be right up your alley.

It sounds like you'd love the show Hannibal. Fantastic deep dive into the world of Dr. Lector - with Mads Mikkelsen in the titular role. Starts a little slow, but has a very good series arc (only three seasons and gets better each season.)

People will shit on Ridley Scott a lot these days but he has made a long list of great films.

The Duellists, Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Matchstick Men, American Gangster, The Martian, and The Last Duel.

Hannibal, Body of Lies, Kingdom of Heaven, and Black Rain are all decent too.

Oldman as Verger was worth the film. The book wasn’t very good and the movie never really had a chance. I still love it. The end is horrible (it is in the book too) it’s “gross” where previous work was more subtle. If it had existed…Hannibal, a Blumhouse production 🤔🤣

Good movie but not a good sequel to Silence of the Lambs.

Hannibal rising is also very good and explains a few things.
