I love Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Dune, all fantastic scores but they’re for pretty damn good movies too. So I’m looking for film scores that are less talked about because the movie is just okay.
I still remember the score from the movie Prospect (2018) 2 years after having seen it. The movie is, well just okay, but the score is so beautiful and fits perfectly. I sometimes watch the whole movie or at least the ending scenes just to hear the score.
Also the In Bruges (2008) score, although the movie was great and critically acclaimed so it doesn’t fit as well but I don’t think that score gets enough credit. It’s a masterpiece and I think it deserved an Oscar nom.
What are some others? They don’t have to be movies critics/everyone kind of thought were meh. Feel free to shout out your favourite score from a film you personally just felt “meh” about.
