Sounds like he’s finally working with PTA too. PTA originally wanted him for Dirk Diggler.

I hope he works with Fincher someday. Fincher shot a Red camera test with Leo lighting up a stogie in the dark. Pitt and Leo reuniting in a Fincher would be epic. Pitt was originally supposed to be the Damon character in Departed I believe.

When I heard PTA and Tarantino joke that Leo is quite intense about some scenes I knew he was still chasing him.

I thought for a bit that PTA cast his dad in Licorice Pizza because Leo turned down the film.

Just watched Licorice Pizza 2 days ago. My god what a charming movie. But i dont see how Leo would have fit into it.

I believe he was up for that, because the casting jokes I heard were about how Cooper replaced DiCaprio twice, in that and Nightmare Alley (which DiCaprio for sure had been cast in)

I don't see it as well but then again I can say that about a few of his roles that he owned even before his mature looks.

I'm glad that didn't work out. He's great but that part was perfect for Wahlberg. I don't know if Leo could pull off the dumb guy as well.
