I saw these movies were leaving Tubi in 2 days and decided to watch since I haven’t seen them since I was like 6. I actually loved them, they’re goofy, cute and dare I saw I laughed a few times at my big age. Now I’m looking for movies with a similar goofy vibe to put on my watch later list, they don’t have to be kids movies.

They have aged incredibly well as their own little thing. I love rewatching them. Sadly I haven't found any other kids movies with the same vibe. BUT, here's my recommendations for goofy fun with some random spooks.

  • Goonies
  • The Mummy
  • Atlantis the Lost Empire
  • Hook 1991
  • Treasure Planet
  • Goosebumps 2015 (far more fun than I expected)
  • The Haunted Mansion 2003
  • The Borrowers 1997
  • Jumangi trilogy
  • Scooby Doo and with Witches Ghost
  • Scooby Doo on Zombie Island
  • Pokemon Detective Pikachu
  • Spy Kids
  • Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams
  • The Witches (1990)

The works of Joe Dante

Innerspace is currently free with ads on Youtube (highly recommend)

Piranha and Rock N Roll High School are currently on Tubi

Few others on pay channels, Small Soldiers is on Showtime, Burbs is on Netflix, if you got them.

(US streaming rights)

The Brady bunch movies from the 90s were both great. Like, The Addams Family and Brady bunch movie would make a great double feature.
Both being about quirky families, out of place in society unbeknownst to them.
