I liked it. Thought it was better than Kills and one of the better Halloween films. I don't need every film to be a retread of Michael going on a killing spree. Michael seemed more impactful fucking up a town via paranoia and trauma after a spree than he ever can just doing damage in a single night. I also liked that they had Laurie finally have some peace.

Also not for nothing, this film series has 13 films and only 2 have positive critical reception, so it's not like the typical formula is all that much of a grand slam sure thing anyways.
