This.
No i get taxi driver perfectly. It was one of a ton of "Vietnam veteren goes on a rampage" films released between 1970 and 1985.
Thinking you understand something doesnt mean you actually do.
Saying Taxi Driver was "School Shooter: The Movie" is funny when Joker pretty much quotes the fucking Columbine High shooters.
There were people dressed as travis at the capitol riots.
It makes sense that domestic terrorists would think that Travis Bickle might be someone to emulate.
There were people wearing pants there too. All people who wear pants are fascists?
Pants are bullshit fascist tools!
KILTS FOR ALL, FREE YOUR BALLS
You know what the neat thing is?
They're both villains and like American Psycho you are not intended to like or have sympathy for the character.
You may want to seek professional help.
Actually your supposed to feel sympathy for both. Thats why these films were made.

Did you call up Martin Scorsese yourself and ask him why he made Taxi Driver?
Actually the screenwriter came out and admitted that his friend got mugged so it inspired him to write the script of taxi driver. Im far from the 1st person with these critisms of taxi driver.
A script isn't a movie. That's like saying an engine is a car.
The same reason why people idolize Homelander and identify with him....
lmao ok
I didn't see Taxi Driver but just so I have this right...
So...is your opinion that Joker is
I came to stir the pot but I'm also genuinely curious. I'm weird like that.
