I could be wrong because I'm not familiar with his entire body of work, but Paul Rudd has never really evolved as an actor to me --- he was playing a safe and charming "guy next door" in Clueless and 30 years later he's playing those same kinds of roles --- I like him as a person but I don't really see any growth as an actor
