No one did. I just thought it would be interesting to share what movies I watched this month. No need to be a dick about it

I thoroughly enjoyed your reviews. Ignore them.

Thanks! I don't get why some people just need to be an ass about it. Like yeah, no one asked me to but I wanted to do it anyways. And if people don't like it, then that's on them

I for one am SUPER pumped to see people enthusiastically talking about movies. I frankly don’t know why that person even follows this sub if not to share others excitement for cinema. Can’t make heads or tails of that one.

It’d be different if you just told us like something completely empty of any personality. But this was well structured and charming with a clear adoration for the simple act of sitting down to watch a movie. And for that, you’re a rockstar. Movies are our medicine, that person is clearly just having a cranky day.

PS. Avatar was so good in theaters it nearly made me tear up simply from the idea that James Cameron loves movies THAT much. What a marvelous project. And I used to hate avatar with a passion when it first came out.

It was definitely a little difficult because up until maybe about a year or so ago, I didn't really think all that critically about movies outside of whether or not I liked it. But as I've gotten older, I've been more analytical of the movies I've watched and that's led to an even greater admiration of filmmaking

And I actually did not watch the first Avatar in theaters. When it came out, I was only like 9 or 10, and when you're that age, you don't really have the money or the means to go to the theater without your parents. And when it comes to something like Avatar, my parents are an automatic pass on that.

Yeah my family never took me to many actual theater screenings either. We were a blockbuster (yes I’m a 90s kid) family and later my older brother was pirating like every movie under the sun lol so I watched a lot that way. You start to appreciate the stories more and how much gosh dang work it takes.
