John woo's Bullet in the Head

It was not the first time I'd seen a John woo movie. I'm old enough to remember a time when repertory theaters were very popular and Portland had many. One in particular had introduce me not only to Hong Kong Cinema but two Japanese animation as well.

Some friends of ours called us and invited us to go see Bullet in the Head. We went to an early showing and I distinctly remember standing on the sunny sidewalk in front of the theater after the movie when our friend said "some John woo movies are like that, it's like he comes to your house and personally beat you with a baseball bat."

I bought the VHS tape the day it was released. Never watched the tape.
