Jeez, that’s a lot. My recent vet charged $500 including blood work. Is that cost standard here?

Not the standard! Depends on the age and health of your pet and the condition of their teeth. You can get it done for $500-$700 at Winichahanat Vet in Dover. It's a small office and they're very good.
