Concord Parking Nazis

Can kiss my ass! They ticket for the most mundane things. I was parked in a residential zone in front of my house die 10 minutes and got a ticket for being one foot into a no parking area. They literally just painted the lines and I have lived here for 3 years and parked the same way and never got ticketed.

I can see if I was hurting someone or even inconveniencing someone but I was not. The only reason to ticket me was to collect money for the city or to bust my bills.

I’ll never pay. I called the number on the ticket to go to court. Got an answering machine and left a message.

They are out of control. Think they have some great power over us plebs. Fuck them.

I wasn’t blocking anything and I was parked for a very short period of time. Plenty of room between me and the road and the driveway. Literally no other cars around.

I’m not saying I wasn’t technically breaking the rule but I’m saying that it is asinine to ticket people for stupid shit that isn’t hurting anyone.

Your use of the word plebs tells me that you're probably guilty. That being said, when I lived in Concord I caught one of the parking enforcement officers writing me a ticket before my meter expired. When I asked why she was writing me a ticket when there was still time on the meter (about 3 minutes) the response was 'Well, I didnt think you'd be back before it ran out". I made her tear up the ticket before I go in my car and drove away.

Yes very. This isn’t the first time I have had a ticket like this for a petty reason. They’d never come near my area in bad weather. Lol

Take pictures of the area, especially noting any signage or lack thereof. They can help show that you were in the right, if you were.
