Google is telling me that it was Capri Pizza but that could be wrong.

I think this is right.
Between Capri Pizza and J.W. Hills a gut rehab was done. The inside is now completely unrecognizable to when it was Capri. Even the outside was restored and cleaned up. A beautiful job was done.
I do not think it was anything between Capri and J.W. Hills.
Buiness records have it as something Elite Restaurant Lounge Mgmt, DBA Incognito Wine Lounge, but I do not ever remember that. It might have been someone's dream that never came to fruition, then J.W. Hills came along.

My first thought was that it was just another Manch Irish bar (with a ton of windows) but I'm sure I'm totally off the mark.

That was at Lowell and Elm. Spent a few Saturday nights there years ago.

That is also further north, but not as far as Greg's Place

Opposite directions. Greg's was south, on lake. The brimmer was north on lowell

Right, right. I was thinking of Steve's House Restaurant! That was up on Elm, 1256 or so.
