I mean, the human race is pretty much f*cked at this point.

The Earth will be fine, just give it a few thousand years after we're gone.

The time to do something about climate change has come and gone...

We had the technology to start reducing our impact on the atmosphere 50+ years ago, but instead we chose to continue funneling money into the pockets of oil and coal executives. There was money to be made in new, cleaner energy methods, but they refused to adapt.

Even if we made a 180 in our behavior tomorrow, the consequences of our past would last for generations and humans would still be struggling to survive.

It's grim, but that doesn't make it false.
