Seriously, it’s be better than just having some failed coffee(?) place and hey, it’s already in the shape of a Pizza Hut.
Honestly I just want a Pizza Hut that’s not 20 minutes away.

It would be hilarious if they did that and restored all of the original 1980s decor etc... then put on the sign for the grand opening "Never forget I'm here forever... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - Try the Pan Pizza!"
So long as they reinstall the Super Mario Bros. arcade machine I'm down.
There is at least one retro Pizza Hut with all the old furnishings (including cups, stain glass light fixtures, and I believe also the lunch buffet)

Stuffed crust pizza will always hold a special place in my heart.
> Hell, even Walgreens closed their doors.
Hard to believe that three pharmacies wouldn't all thrive within walking distance of each other. Osco is just a hop, skip, and jump down the road. That's a lotta pill slinging
Only if they include the arcade cabinets. I remember one I used to go to as a kid had Marvel Vs. Capcom and you could hear it in the background while eating haha
I agree. I heard DQ is going in there 🤷♂️
I could be down for DQ
Agreed!
That place was such a disappointment. I firmly believe they would have thrived if the cookies were fresh and warm.
According to this Wikipedia article the Nestle Cafe is living on borrowed time. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nestl%C3%A9_Toll_House_Caf%C3%A9
How long has that place been in Derry? I never noticed it until last month, and granted I only go to Derry for concerts but I drive by there once a year and hadn't spotted it before.
>Nestlé Toll House Café is a soon-to-be defunct franchise in the United States and Canada founded by Ziad Dalal and his partner Doyle Liesenfelt. The two started Crest Foods, Inc. D/B/A "Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip" in 2000 in Dallas, Texas. Crest Foods, the master franchisor for Nestlé, is in charge of developing cookie store franchises across the United States as part of Nestlé USA's challenge to the longtime industry leader, Mrs. Fields Famous Cookies Inc. The menu consists of items such as cookies, cookie cakes, brownies, ice cream, milk shakes, smoothies, and a full line of hot and frozen coffee beverages.

I remember going there many times as a kid. I think you'd find that it couldn't be the same as pizza hut quality has gone in the toilet.
