So, people don’t stay in their neighborhoods any more and goto better areas? Wow!

This is literally what happens on Halloween in every city in America for at least the last 30 years (aka my entire life), and probably longer….

You are wrong with this..don’t know where you grew up, but everyone I worked with and lived by, never heard of it and if they saw a car or group that were not from around their neighborhood, they would tell them they are out of candy. I make some calls because you make it sound like this was a thing everywhere. Maybe in the deep city.

This probably just means you lived in a neighborhood people came to so congrats to you

This doesn’t deserve downvotes IMO.
I’m around your age and we always had to go elsewhere bc we lived on a dark country road

Thank you… I just didn’t know kids do that today… don’t get the downvotes either….

Now I know what my friends were talking about by having separate candy for kids.

I saw a clip of people trick or treating in a mall parking lot like they were tailgating 🤮

Its called trunk or treat. Its a pretty common celebration now and some parents feel its safer than going door to door.
