Ate there this week (home fried potatoes are very good) and stood outside and couldn’t determine what building I was looking at. Standing in front on lowest part of Whalley Ave and in the distance, past Dixwell Ave is what looks like a new 8-10 story building. Has that been there for years and I’m only seeing it now? If it’s near Science Park, then I’m also baffled as i believe all new construction was low at max 4 floors. It looks to me like newly constructed material/siding.

He’s a Turkish immigrant who has built a thriving empire and whose son went to Yale. He’s like the American dream come to life.

Yoooo that’s my dude right there!
He’s a really nice guy. He would make an amazing custom buffalo veggie pie for me and my GF when we come in. Long live Brick Oven!

It is the brick oven pizza owner’s building! He built it and then COVID immediately hit, unfortunately. Not sure what he’s like as a landlord but he is a really great guy.

I think it’s the same owner as brick oven pizza. He’s been getting into property development in addition the pizza places he owns.
