Do you happen to know what route was his? That’s really neat . The story in my family is my grandfather owned an Indian motorcycle and I wish I knew more . Something about a wreck with a trolly. He was ok and I believe it was one of his legs was effected somehow. Needless to say motorcycles were a big NO ,NO as well as anything on Two wheels. My grandfather died B4 I was born & no one really talked about him I guess he was on the shady side.

I’d ask my dad but he just died. He grew up on the Hill. I do know that Trolleys were maiming people a lot back then. My great grandfather used to visit a guy who suffered brain damage from a Trolley accident. At the sanitarium in Old Saybrook.

I’ll bet trolleys were, I no shit about trolleys & I imagine they didn’t stop on a dime, nor a nickel..

Actually my brother might know my great grandfather’s route. It might have been up to the Hill and back.
