cool grooves at the State House, in todays ArtsPaper- that's the Good. but sadness worked in as I read toward the end- that's the Bad. another downside to all the new apartments. say it ain't so,.

I am so bummed about that. I’ve loved that space ever since Broken Umbrella Theatre performed in it at Arts & Ideas and was so happy when it became the State House.

Damn. We need housing for sure, but State House is practically the only place I’ve seen regional/some national touring heavy music that’s making a stop bt NY and Boston…still got space ballroom, bee racks, and wamleg, but….

Went to a ska show there randomly a couple weeks ago. I hope they can find a new spot in the area, the vibe works really well for the city.
