My pick up truck tires splashed through the semi melted snow on route 12 in NJ on a frosty winter afternoon. I was looking out to the horizon thinking about everything and nothing at all. This was during a real a long and difficult time in my life. The steady hum of the splashing slush mixed with the desaturated colors all around me soothed my heart and mind.

I know this view well. Beautiful work. A LOT of painters in that area and there’s a real regionalist thing going on style wise.

Nice - I’ve ridden my bike past that spot a zillion times; your pic really evokes the feeling of mile 50 on a cold winter morning.

You certainly captured that spot, I've driven by it many times. Saying that, Hunterdon Lanes was demolished in 2022.

I recognized this and had to check to make sure someone wasn't re-posting your work. Accurately captured the end of winter back when New Jersey used to get snow.
