They always seem to be well off business owners who are bitter and detached from life in their home country. They come over here legally because they have the money to pay for lawyers and all that to do it "the right way", and then resent people who aren't well off trying to come over. Same thing with the Cubans who think they are just going to waltz back in the country some day and take their former plantations over.

Definitely thought about the Cubans when I saw this. I lived in S Fl for four years, and the conflictive dissonance of the Cuban expats is a regular discussion.
Those fleeing socialism living off of social welfare programs are the loudest voices.
