This morning I was riding as a passenger on I-80 W and was subjected to some absolutely indisputable indecent exposure around 9am somewhere between Hackensack and Denville. My friend was driving in the left lane so all vehicles to the right of us were super brightly lit by the sun coming up and across the highway—she noticed a guy in the right lane craning his neck and making faces (she thought he was yelling at her for something driving-related) so she asked me if he was still doing it so I look over and TO MY HORROR he’s now thrusting his entire naked pelvis as high as his steering wheel while violently wrenching his extremely flaccid penis. It was clearly no coincidence (time of day, direction of traffic) that he was lit up brighter than a movie screen, so I imagine he does this often or maybe someone’s able to get his plate to report him? Of course he slowed down and immediately exited so I couldn’t act fast enough. It was a white guy with super short/buzzed hair (possibly balding) in a white t-shirt in a white sedan. I know, super distinct, but like clearly that’s on purpose, this seriously seems super thought out/I get serial flasher vibes. If there’s nothing to be done, then maybe at the very least someone will see this?? Idk, but any suggestions as to what to do would be awesome. And if someone tries to catch your eye on the highway just ignore them cause they might be waiting to expose themselves to you in a horrifying and grotesque manner.

If you didn't even get a license plate, then it's a waste of time to report this. A white guy in a white sedan is not enough for police to go on.

Between Hackensack and denville ? That’s a 30 mile rode… did you not get a license plate? If you know the description of the vehicle you can try calling the state police about it but you should’ve of done when you pulled off the exit.

I was the passenger being driven to a job so we didn’t just exit right away. It’s honestly been on my mind all day, I wish I knew better where exactly we were when it happened but I don’t.

Get out of the left lane you were obviously going to slow if you can see what other people are doing in their cars .

I would report it even if you dont have a lot of details to give so a record can be made in the event they’ve done it before, do it again, or eventually get caught. I’m sure there’s a non emergency number you can find for state police to just give a notification to.

Do you remember how far into your drive/close to your destination you were when it happened? Might help narrow down an area of 80 where it happened. Sorry this happened to you.

I could ask the driver if she knew where exactly we were. Thank you, I really appreciate your response.
