I actually got a picture of her license plate before she took off. I got out the car and that’s the second thing I did, after dialing 911. Wasn’t going to take a chance. But still couldn’t believe she took off. I guess this is a common thing, hit and runs. Disgusting.

Let the insurance company know, they’ll be able to perform a plate search for the car and then be able to pull the other parties insurance info and then they can subrogate for damages

There would be some sign of damage to their car, and the GPS data on their phone would pin them at the exact location as OP. The evidence is there, it's just a question of being able to obtain it.

There should be corresponding damage on her car. Scrapped paint at least that should match yours. As long as you act before she can get it fixed, you should have a case.
