I need to get away from NC politics and the absolute incompetence of the Democrats in this alleged swing state. I've realized that my liberal kind is not welcome in NC and Jersey is so far ahead of the curve with things like weed and sports betting and labor laws and womens/LGBTQ rights that it'd be a safe place to be.
How much of a shock would it be going from the Triangle to anywhere in Jersey? Is it worth it? Jersey seems to be a much nicer place with much kinder, smarter people and seems to have a good head on its shoulders.
