I'm not from the area, so maybe I just don't know the right way to handle it. But a handful times a year, I will find myself having to take 24 to 287 North on my way home from work.
Now, they put signage up like miles ahead of time, so I assume I am meant to queue up in my correct lane from the get-go, and wait the 30 - 45 minutes in line. Or am I supposed to drive at 50mph in the right or left lane then cut into the 287N exit lane at the last minute? Seriously - how many murders occur here? Its not just me, right? This is an infuriating scenario?
Are there any other routes I should be taking to avoid this nightmare?
