Pretty much only Jerry Seinfeld at this point, oddly enough.

Rich Asians. Hang around the Starbucks they eventually build, and that's all you'll see. Not even 10 years ago, Hudson County was little (insert Latin city name), now it's all Asians and Indians in their midtown uniforms. Excited to see what camden looks like in a few years.

3BR at 4600/mo is 1535 per month per bedroom. Considering a 1BR is 1800+, youre getting at least newer construction for less than if you didnt have roommates. And if its you and 2 good friends going from your shitty college apt to this, now that everyone is working, I could see the reason why.

Yeah I understand but you wouldn’t always want to live with others

sure but if you cant afford a 1BR, which is many people, then this is not a terrible option. Its a large price for sharing the space, but not absoletely unfathomable like you made it seem in your original post. Could totally see a new college grad that got a job in the area living with a friend or 2, each on their entry level jobs.

Good point, for people who don’t like to live with others, they typically don’t rent 3 bedrooms all for themselves
Dapper-Translator-88 t1_j6mr4wx wrote
Yeah true but how would someone who wants to start a family do?
Jimmytowne t1_j6mrles wrote
They can just buy a house like you said

You'd be surprised how many people aren't cut out for home ownership and why renting is the better option, even at this price.

High income young couples, mainly.
As for the rest of your post, home ownership is not always objectively better than renting. There are benefits to renting.
