What a tragedy. Are there no fire safety regulations like sprinklers or fire doors in Cambodia, or is this a matter of unaddressed safety concerns sliding under the radar?

Well, that's interesting. 99% of these scams target labourers in the poorer country with promises about work a richer one (see: Qatar), but in this case they presented the jobs as high-paid "expat" work like IT and consulting. Sad to hear.

There are some local reports that the numbers have more than doubled in the past few hours. Horrific tragedy. There are a few videos on Twitter that seem to be the last some people will have ever taken and posted.
