2 were just stolen from the zoo in Dallas earlier this week.

There was a series of animal escapes in Sweden too recently - a snake (called sir Hiss), two owls and some chimps - all in the news lately.

The owls were found by a librarian called Mr Owl (Uggla) out on an island where he said he knew they didn't belong - he had always been interested in owls because of his name.

Sir Hiss escaped through a lamp and the zoo had to close until he was found a week later.

The chimps were sadly shot upon escaping, which was extra sad since they had escaped before and their old handler had just taken them by hand and walked them back. They new staff at the zoo got scared and shot them instead.

Kind of makes you wonder if these two are related. I'd heard that they're suspecting these monkeys from the Louisiana zoo were stolen (as opposed to just being inadvertently released due to vandalism).

Poor monkeys :( If they're sold to some exotic pet owner somewhere then hopefully they're at least spoiled and treated well.

Yeah exotic pet owners (specifically exotic mammals) are mostly garbage people. They don't love their animals like normal people love their cats and dogs. It's about their own egos and power.

Another one?! they should check out the Coalition for the Liberation of Itinerant Tree-dwellers. They've done stuff like this before.

Did they happen to spray paint "We did it!" on the wall? I'd start by looking for a crazy guy named Jeffrey.

Wow, what the fuck? I lived in South Louisiana for 30+ years and never once heard about that place. That's insane, look how fucking big it is! That was a really interesting read

Someone call Theo Von. He has experience with this sort of thing.

How often does this happen?

Perhaps all these missing animals are part of a secret society and they all have escaped to rendezvous at a secret meeting location because of how close the humans are to launching nuclear war.

Sounds like a break-out.

Yeah, I get the impression any evidence of a break in was done by the monkeys themselves to cover their tracks and deflect suspicion. Clever little buggers, they are.

Apparently they got aggressive when only 2 were allowed on the ark

Homer stop playing with those monkeys. Somebody’s gonna get parasites.

How do we know they broke in? Could have just as easily been the other way around.
