Terminology gets weird there. Sometimes the term automatic is used to refer to any selfloading firearm, including semiautomatics. Things get even weirder once you start throwing L.A.W.S. and revolvers into it.
Automatic = A firearm that loads itself after each shot, selfloading usually being the preferable term.
Semi Automatic = A firearm that shoots once per pull of the trigger
Fully Automatic = A firearm that shoots repeatedly while the trigger is held. Often referred to as just automatic today resulting in lots of confusion.
As to which one the comment above is referring to, your guess is as good as mine.
