Sorry you had to go thru this but you and Sam were so lucky! Is Sam still in that town? Hope it doesn't hunther down. Maybe get her out of there. Noone found that thing? Probably left it alone. Afraid! Hope someone goes during the day and burns that place to the ground!

Yes, we are both still here. I hope that thing can’t go very far away from the house. The thought of returning and burning that place to the ground has crossed my mind more than once.
