Well, no she wasn't. She didn't commit any crime, since it's only illegal to pay for sex and it's not illegal to receive money.

You see, we don't criminalize as many people as humanly possible to generate profit for private owned prisons, because that's not something a civilised society would do..right?

So it's a crime to buy sex but it's not illegal to sell sex? Or just not illegal to pretend to sell sex to take some creep's money? The latter I could really get behind.

Yeah, its a crime to buy, not a crime to sell (to protect those who are forced to sell sex/trafficking victims and enable them to turn to the authorities without risk of repercussion).

While it's not legal to commit fraud, you cant use the justice system to get your money back since transferring that money for sex was a crime. It would be like going to the police and complain about someone in your money laundry business is stealing money.

So basically, if you're a creep you're pretty screwed(no pun intended) if the person selling sex isn't really up to it after you've paid.

They should do this with drugs too. It's so ridiculous that they arrest dealers instead of addicts. Demand creates supply.
