It's not just this guy.
The Kansas City Chiefs are basically an Evangelical cult, and I imagine a substantial proportion of their fanbase is oblivious to this fact.
And frankly, I don't blame them: fandom is probably more fun that way.

Like all of the NFL actually. Meantime at the “Super Bowl” you have gambling, prostitution, drugs, open legal debauchery of all kinds. Bring your kids and your hard earned money - if anyone dies on the field we’ll just cut to commercial and play it as a human interest story.
