I wonder if Tokyo has this issue.

Tokyo has worked hard to keep affordable housing alive. How do we encourage the types of people that leave their drugs on the ground to stay at home when housing is so expensive? I know some people are literal junkie fuck ups but damn yo they should still be able to buy a shitty condo on a regular jobs wages

You also get like immediate jail time if they find any amount of drugs on you, it’s not comparable at all.

I remember one day walking past some Chinpira in Yoyogi park doing stupid shit. The cops came up to them and were like, "Can you please stop?" and the reply was basically Fuck off, and the cops left.

But anyway, simply smoking pot in Tokyo runs the risk of ruining your entire life and career. So, there you go. I'm not sure it's relevant though.

Yea, my point was their drug laws are extremely strict. People love to act like we live in a tyrannical country when other first world countries don’t put up with a fraction of what we do.
