$4450 for 2 beds would be dirt cheap here in midtown. People pay more for studios and one beds.

My 1 conv 2 (~1000 sq ft) is $5047 a month in mid-town east. It's a doorman building, but it was built in the 1980's, and doesn't really have any high end luxuries.
