Okay so I am very new to this sub. I posted a while ago and received some great tips and I’ve been on the look out for resources to help me learn all this financial stuff.
But oh my god there is so much I don’t know. I am 23m , I just got my first credit card and I have a 722 credit score, I’m trying to put money into a 401k with a 6% employer match and 1% in a Roth account also set up by my employer. I am also trying to save money in my saving account and keep a separate emergency fund. I just laid out a budget for me and my fiancé (25m) for the first time.
It’s all so overwhelming. I’m trying to learn about CDs and market accounts and index funds and the stock market and there’s so much to learn. So much I don’t know.
I don’t make a lot of money to begin with ($25k/yr) so this all feels really impossible to begin with, but I know it’s better to start small than not at all. I just feel really in over my head.
