What do you mean 'sabotaging' his health? Why wouldn't he just run its course?
What you should do with the money depends on a lot of factors. You could invest it. You could use to go to school of some kind and make more money. Don't waste it on dumb shit
Thats only about a year or two of rent....barely anything. Spend it on getting a career for yourself.

It is his life insurance. He is not sabotaging his health persay. The doctors are prescribing him medicines to help him recover from chemo and they are not working effectively. Our grandfather was a doctor and would never ever prescribe medicine like that.

Tough question without knowing more but avoid spending your money on a depreciating asset (something that will be worth less a few years after you purchase it). Invest in something (yourself included) that will improve the trajectory of your life!
