+1 for this recommendation, especially if you’re a history fan. It’s such a scenic area and the town has a lot of cool stuff as well.

Antietam is also a short drive away which is one of the best-preserved Civil War battlefields.

I spent my childhood going to Gettysburg and I have no idea why my civil war buff grandfather never took us to Antietam, it's basically the same distance. I'm gonna have to make a drive this spring
