This is part of the paranoia that makes me walk around my car first anytime I have to use my car. Checking for flats, vandalism, stolen plate, whatever.

I do all that already except the plate part. Definitely adding that to my pre-trip routine.

Also forgot to mention it would be quite obvious if my plate was switched as I have a vanity plate so it's definitely something I'd notice right away.
