In front of Bankroll it’s been closed off for like a year, maybe more. As of last week it still was but I haven’t walked by since.

Ohh a signnnnn, well, shit, that does sound like a sports betting bar. What will that sign say ? “GO BE A DEGENERATE ON YOUR PHONE!” A luxury sign, of course. Also, the last thing I need is encouragement to gamble. In fact, I need the opposite. Where’s that bar ?

I agree, I think sports betting is fine to do at some place that allows you to bet in some location. Mobile sports betting are stupid dangerous and those sports betting apps lobbied hard to keep it on the phone

If you are, we all are. It sounds like it’s going to be a large, higher end sports bar. Which there’s probably going to be a clientele for?

I don’t get why they’re not leading with and focusing on that instead of promoting themselves as a place where you can do something that you can literally do in any bar in the city.

Literally do anywhere ! I do it in my yard. Bet the over / under on Argentinian basketball while drinking Schmidt’s cans. Not exactly the height of luxury, but I do it.

I’m guessing they will have like tickers and stuff posted with up to date betting odds and all that and have an affiliation with FanDuel or something

Sounds like a place where you can meet actual bookies who will lend you money when you’re in the hole and “ you get the opportunity” to have your legs broken if you’re late on your interest payments.
