Anyone happen to know when they open this year? I called their number and it’s disconnected.

It’s almost April and they aren’t even open yet. Hopefully it opens up soon, it’s the only range in the city and they’re wasting revenue staying closed

They are the most random and inconsistent business. It’ll be 80 and sunny and they’ll be closed. Then 40 degrees but open. Have to assume it all fluctuates on if they can get guys to work on any given day to collect balls

If you drive camden county range is the best in our area. Used to be FDR on some real shit.

That Camden County range is on a buncha shit too. Inconsistent hours, run out of balls all the time, credit card machine was broken last time I was there. Nobody working there seems to care about anything. This area is honestly lacking a professionally run driving range.

I used to golf in high school, but that was about 35 years ago! Would love to get out and hit the links again. I was thinking of starting, though, on a nine hole par three course just to re-orient myself with the game. Anybody know if there’s that kind of a course anywhere nearby?

Once cobbs creek re-opens next year they will have a 9 hole “beginners course.” Walnut lane in roxborough is relatively short.

I’d also recommend Clayton park in Glen mills, about 30 min outside of the city but it’s the perfect place to learn (or re-learn) to golf
