Speaking as a Manayunk resident, because it takes fucking 35 minutes to get over the green lane bridge in the morning. It’s one lane backed up a full mile.
Infrastructure badly needs to be upgraded to keep up with the high density housing

Because that one bridge is all they have for 10000 people in a 1 square mile. Not including all of the people that drive into conchy for many jobs located there

It is the only bridge over the river for a very long stretch. And some people travel west… not every one is constantly going to Philly every single time they leave the house
