I liked that the place you go for marriage license was “Marriage licensing and Orphan Court”. As if they are looking to pawn off some orphans on unexpecting newlyweds.

You can get married anywhere in Pennsylvania w/o officiating clergy - just the 2 of you on top of a mountain! You do need apply for a self-united license, but that’s it!

in philly at least you still go to city hall for the self uniting ceremony application and stuff, then they give you the paperwork and you can complete the rest wherever then mail it back to city hall
